Incredible skill and pastel work - the "mom and pop/ma and pa" which, I think, was discontinued somewhere in the 1950's? (I'm married to a train enthusiast who was born and raised in DC/MD who has taken over a whole garage with his "enthusiasm." - I'd call it a hobby, but it's clearly more than that. He'd be happy riding the rails for the rest of his life.) Glad I found your site - it is a "must see" for him.
